FAQS

  • Many people/industries in the region work in and around wetlands. Although our challenges are industry/group specific, there are often common elements to the challenges we face in avoiding and/or minimizing impacts to wetlands or general environmental stewardship.

It is our hope to create an annual opportunity for a multi-stakeholder gathering to discuss innovative solutions to address these challenges that are specific to the region. Furthermore, it is our intent to bring various perspectives together for this conversation, including industry, government, consultants, Indigenous communities, research academia, construction, and non-profits.

This is a wide variety of people for these conversations. However, we feel that a diversity of perspectives will bring the most value to our discussions. In other words, for example, if we have research academics and equipment operators engaging in conversation with one another regarding these challenges, we would consider this event a success.

  • This event geared toward an 18+ audience. Be sure to check the BWC Event Schedule for family centric programming.
